About me - Jessica Petley

I'm the founder of Petley Perception Corp. and a Life Coach who helps people get honest with themselves, rebuild self-trust, and create real movement in their lives. Life thus far has been quite a ride! One that’s tested me, shaped me, and ultimately led me here.

From a rough start, with plenty of trials and tribulations early on, I was fortunate to be adopted by my aunt and uncle, who stepped in and became my greatest supporters. From there, I made a decision: my past wouldn't define my future. A decision I've made over and over.

I’ve lived a nomadic lifestyle—calling eight Canadian cities home and exploring eleven countries. Each place taught me something unique about people, purpose, and perspective. Along the way, I faced personal challenges and life-altering setbacks. Every experience became a catalyst for growth, self-reflection, and ultimately, transformation.

Professionally, I’ve worn many hats: cleaner, nanny, realtor, executive assistant, marketer, lifestyle manager, coach, consultant and grant writer. Each role shaped my ability to lead with empathy, communicate with clarity, and help others step into their own growth. The work I do today is a direct reflection of those lived experiences: real, raw, and rooted in purpose.

 My story includes moments of abundance and seasons when I had very little. I’ve experienced both struggle and expansion. Through it all, I’ve come to believe that resilience isn’t something we’re born with. It’s something we build, one experience at a time.
